2. What data we collect

We collect and process the following personal data:

2.1 Contact form and appointment booking

  • Surname, first name
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Desired insurance type
  • Message content
  • Preferred consultation date

2.2 Customer data for insurance advice

We collect the following particularly sensitive personal data in order to prepare insurance offers and contracts:

  • AHV number (social insurance number)
  • Height and weight (health data)
  • Profession and employer
  • Marital status
  • General practitioner
  • Bank details (bank name, IBAN)
  • Work permit (as a document)
  • Existing insurance policy (as a document)

Note on particularly sensitive data

AHV numbers, health data and bank details are considered particularly sensitive personal data in accordance with Art. 5 lit. c nDSG. This data is used exclusively for insurance counselling, stored in encrypted form and only processed with your express consent.

3. Purpose of data processing

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your enquiries and appointment bookings
  • Insurance advice and preparation of offers
  • Provision of the AI chatbot service for answering insurance questions
  • SMS and e-mail notifications for your appointments
  • Improving our website and services
  • Fulfilment of legal obligations

5. Third-party providers and data transfer

We use the following third-party providers to provide our services:

Supabase (database)

Storage of contact requests, appointment bookings and chat histories. Server location: EU (Frankfurt). Privacy Policy: supabase.com/privacy

Vercel (Hosting)

Hosting of our website and processing of server requests. Server location: Edge network (global, incl. EU). Privacy Policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

Twilio (SMS & WhatsApp)

Sending SMS confirmations and reminders for your appointments. Data transfer to the USA with standard contractual clauses. Privacy Policy: twilio.com/legal/privacy

Google (Calendar)

Synchronisation of consultation appointments with Google Calendar. Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Anthropic (AI chatbot & data processing)

Processing of chatbot enquiries and support with insurance advice using artificial intelligence (Claude from Anthropic). Your questions and - with your consent - relevant customer data are transmitted to Anthropic to generate answers and recommendations. Anthropic does not store customer data permanently and does not use it to train its models (API usage). Server location: USA with standard contractual clauses (SCCs). 6. Your rights

According to the new Data Protection Act (nDSG) you have the following rights:

  • Right to information: You can request information about whether and what personal data we process about you.
  • Right to rectification: You can request the correction of incorrect data.
  • Right to erasure: You can request the erasure of your data, provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
  • Right to data portability: You can request that we provide you with your data in a commonly used format.
  • Right of objection: You can object to the processing of your data at any time.

7. Storage period

We only store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. Contact enquiries are deleted after 2 years if there is no contractual relationship. Chat histories are anonymised after 90 days.

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. These include encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), access controls and regular security checks.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. The current version is always available on our website. We will inform you of any significant changes by appropriate means.
